DermaTherapy® bedding is designed to minimize friction with the skin, unlike cotton and poly-cotton sheets which have microscopic protruding fibres that can irritate the skin, particularly when they become damp.

DermaTherapy® bedding is dust and lint-free which means that it does not shed fibre particles that could irritate the skin and bronchial airways and with a mean pore size of 8.5 microns, DermaTherapy® sheets and pillow cases also help control dust mite antigens.

DermaTherapy® bedding is made from uniquely structured continuous filament yarns that are woven in such a way as to create micro-channels that effectively dissipate heat and wick moisture away from the skin and distribute it evenly over the whole surface of the sheet where it quickly evaporates. This patent-pending new development in fabric technology results in a cleaner, drier and smoother sleeping surface.

DermaTherapy® bedding has a durable antimicrobial treatment permanently bonded into the fabric to help maintain freshness and eliminate odours caused by bacteria and fungi PLUS a ‘soil release’ finish to help remove oils, creams, blood and other stains.

In hospitals and nursing homes DermaTherapy® can withstand the abuse of 90oC washes. However in a household environment a 40oC wash with normal detergents will suffice. These easycare sheets and pillowcases require no fabric conditioner and only a cool tumble dry before they go back on the bed.
