Obsession With Cleanliness Costs the NHS

In the modern day, germ obsessed society it is estimated that the NHS is spending a staggering £1billion (11% of its total budget) treating patients who suffer from mild to severe allergic reactions.  Currently 15,000,000 people in the UK suffer from allergies but this number is expected to soar due to our obsession with cleanliness.
