Nut allergy

Am I allergic to peanuts? - Tia, Sandy, USA

I am wondering if I am allergic to Peanuts ... Since High School I have noticed these things on my face after a couple of days of eating peanuts! They are not quite a zit, it's more of like a really sore liquid zit looking thing ... and then I started getting cankers in my mouth! The nasty kind that take a week to a week and a half to go away and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the canker! Well, the other day I craved peanuts, and got a thing on my face, and 3!!! cankers on the inside of my mouth and one is the size of a dime! and it won't go away! I am wondering if this is a symptom for sure of peanut allergy. (April 2006) Contact Tia
